The way we operate has changed ten-fold since our agency’s early days. Technology has had a tremendous impact on the way that we do business; long-gone are the mammoth typesetters and photo developing labs, which were quickly elbowed out by ever-evolving design software, and this little thing called “the Internet.” Through it all, we’ve stayed true our company culture, serving clients as a resource for creative marketing services centered on quality work and top client service. This is no better personified than looking toward our Art Director, Maria Kowalski, who recently celebrated her 31stanniversary working at Premier Communications Group.Maria has been

In today’s digital world, many businesses are neglecting the power of the promotional product. Promotional products, swag or branded giveaways are usually a small token given by a company to promote their product or service but can also be a thank you gift for loyal clients and employee recognition. Whatever you call them, they can be the most enduring and influential advertising you can do. As consumers, we have learned to tune out most forms of advertising. Television commercials are skipped thanks to the DVR or are missing altogether due to the many streaming services available. Social Media advertising can be blocked

Now that the holidays are over and we’ve all returned to our normal lives, we’d like to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who painted a canvas in honor of our “How Will You Paint Your Canvas?” holiday campaign. We were once again able to provide much-needed art supplies to local schools through DonorsChoose.org, which will allow young artists to unleash their inner-creativity—school budget cuts aside. Teachers and students alike wrote to us in appreciation, as teachers oftentimes have to spend their own money to make art a possibility in their students’ lives, and we couldn’t have

Another bit of exciting news came our way! The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts announced that Premier has won three 2016 Communicator Awards in its 22nd annual competition. Our 2014 holiday campaign, “Shaping a Creative Future,” won an Award of Distinction for marketing/promotion in the print and design category. Two Buick projects – the 2015 NAIAS press kit and the 2015 LA Auto Show press kit – won an Award of Excellence for media kit/special event in the same category. The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for communication professionals. The annual competition salutes the

At May’s Google Performance Summit, a number of long-awaited changes were announced for Google’s biggest cash cow of the last 15 years: AdWords. The primary announcement was the shift of the AdWords platform from a simply “mobile-friendly” interface to a “mobile-first” focus. In his Ads & Analytics Innovations keynote, Sridhar Ramaswamy, SVP of ads and commerce, said the “shift to mobile is no longer something that will happen . . . The shift’s happened.” As consumers begin to seamlessly move between online and offline experiences, it’s important for marketers to bridge the digital and physical worlds. Noted below are a few of

While winning awards isn’t our ultimate goal, we’ve worked every day for 34 years to maintain a standard of excellence that will make our clients shine. And when that work receives recognition, we can’t help but feel a great sense of pride and glow, so to speak. Having been acknowledged with the Davey Award, Constant Contact All-Star Award, Graphic Design USA American Graphic Design Award, Communicator Awards, D Award and Gold Ink Award on a number of different projects in previous years, the Graphis award is a new one for us. Graphis, Inc. is committed to presenting and promoting the work of

Just as we started to see the first signs of spring, a winter reminder arrived in our mailbox. Notes of thanks from the children who benefited from our holiday donation brought a big smile to our faces! Budget cuts have made it an unfortunate reality today for many schools to go without basic classroom needs, even items such as facial tissue and hand soap. We were moved again to help metro Detroit students realize their creative potential by donating materials for an inspired – and healthy! – learning environment. Their gratitude was truly heartwarming. We hope our snowflake creator tool inspired your

For the past decade our holiday campaigns have focused on giving back to the community; DonorsChoose.org allows us to do that by donating essential art supplies to classrooms in need in the metro Detroit area. As a creative organization, we believe that the tools to be creative are necessary for children to express themselves and hone their skills. This is our third year working with DonorsChoose.org. You can learn more about DonorsChoose.org here.

While we believe our company is only as strong as our people, the same philosophy is true for our community. Whether it's helping to build a home for a family that lost everything or simply giving children supplies they need to color and draw, we believe in giving back to those who may need a helping hand. And we have a lot of fun while we're doing it. Here’s a look back at our charitable holiday campaigns from the past 10 years.   2005 HOLIDAY PACKAGE: HABITAT FOR HUMANITY The year 2005 found parts of the world ravaged by earthquakes, tornadoes and mudslides.
